We understand that your time is precious and that you need an optometrist who is professional, yet convenient for your lifestyle. In order to make the transition to our office smoother for you, we have created a New Patient Center with everything you need to get started.
In an effort to make you more comfortable when you arrive at our office and to streamline the new patient process, you can complete all the necessary items prior to your first visit. Please go to patient forms to complete your registration forms and bring them with you to the office.
If you are unable to complete the forms before the scheduled appointment time, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time for these required documents to be completed.
It is important to us to make sure the time we spend with you during your visit is quality time.

To make a thorough eye exam, our optometry doctor will ask you some questions about your vision and your overall health.
Why does the doctor ask me, “Which is better: one or two?”
While assessing your prescription, the physician will offer you a few series of lenses so that you can compare them and define which allows you to see better. Then, the doctor will give you a prescription. If you can’t choose between those options, it means you’re almost done with this part of the exam!
Why is it necessary to know my blood pressure?
High blood pressure can affect your eyes’ blood vessels, causing future vision problems.
Why am I asked to follow a light with my eyes?
This part of the examination will help your doctor to define the reaction of your pupils and eye muscles as well as to assess your neurological function.
Is it necessary for the doctor to dilate my pupils during the exam?
It is not always necessary to dilate pupils, it’s up to your doctor to make this decision. You don’t have to worry if this happens, this process is painless. By doing so, your physician will check your retina more thoroughly. Dilation can also assist in the detection of such diseases as diabetes, high blood pressure, and macular degeneration.
